Anagrams are fun!
You can't imagine how much giddy joy rearranging the letters on the mantle provides me. I look forward to this every Christmas.
This particular set of mantle letters is new this year, a gift from my mother. In the past, I have changed cheerful and reverent greetings into things like "A GREENNESS GOT SIS", "CRAM THIS", "LEON", "MACS SHIRT", and "SMITHMAS CRYER" (sometimes you have to hide the extra letters).
Comedy is, as most things, in the eye of the beholder. Donna generally harumphs and quietly puts things back in order. Magically, within a day or so, they always manage to make themselves funny again.
I wonder what message the anagram elves will have for us tomorrow.

Your little war with your wife reminds me of my parents. My dad always made up hilarious words to Christmas songs that had to do with farting & such. We would all laugh, but my mom never approved. :)
