"How old do you think I am?"

"I'd say... twenty-six."

His reaction told me immediately that I had guessed wrong. His giddiness at being mistaken for a wise sage in his late twenties was overwhelming.

"Nope. Twenty-five."

"Oh."

"Did you know that Seattle and Salt Lake have the same average annual rainfall but Seattle gets all theirs over about three months so it seems like more?"

"Oh, really? Hmm."

It must be great to be twenty-five and omnipotent.
