This lovely number perfectly compliments a pair of ratty jeans or oil-soaked coveralls.

It's also the perfect shirt for watching NASCAR or wrestling... or really, anytime you feel like drinking beer.

Phoenix Rising

Things I learned on my weekend road trip to Phoenix, Arizona:

106 MPH is faster than you should drive regardless of speed limit.

There's something to be said for 70 degrees in January even if you end up spending most of your time at an ice rink.

Phoenix has a surprising number of ice rinks.

Beaver smells like horses.

My mother is afraid of bridges.

Hockey is a smelly, smelly sport.

Hockey players have a disproportionally high number of hot older sisters.

I am bad at lottery scratch cards.

657.9 miles is a hell of a long way to drive. It seems even longer two days later, in the dark.

If Beaver smells like horses, then I suppose that wouldn't be too bad...

Try 2000 miles in 6 days sometime.

My Beaver...

doesn't smell anything like horses...

You?

You have a pet beaver?

Smelling Beaver?

What made you want to smell a beaver? Or, is this a euphamism for the nether regions of an AZ female???

Mmm Beaver

Yes...

it gets *pet* regularly!

OK

As long as there's no heavy petting, that's fine.

I don't want to snatch the wrong assumption and muff up our delicate acquaintance, but you make-a-me crosseyed. The good kind.

Hey Pete...

Pete, can you set me and Danny up a couple of beers...we'd like to discuss my beaver and his crossed eyes...

If only

If I could bring you two young lovers together from opposite sides of the continent with a cold one, I would.

  • I've said it before. I'll say it again. I wish this was my dog.

Or is it wish it were? I always get mixed up on the subjunctive case.
