POW! Right In The Kisser

Monday, June 4, 2007

This is what it looks like when the PVC pipe a five-year-old is playing light sabers with meets the ground at the bottom of the slide just before the child does.

A bad case of hockey mouth
A bad case of hockey mouth

One tooth lost. Two more loose. Upper jaw cracked. Lots of tears.

Ouch

That looks like it hurt. *shiver*
I hope those weren't permanent teeth.

Oh, never mind

I just re-read it. Most 5 year-olds don't have permanent teeth yet. And I get the shivers every time I look at it. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

Right...

She lost that bottom one on here own... well with a little twisting from Megan... a few weeks ago. The rest are/were still baby teeth.

OUCH!

Poor kid! Cool of her(?)to let you snap a picture though!

Vanity...

Anything to have her picture taken...

GOOD HELL!

Ow, ow, ow, ow, OW.
That is one of those photos that definitely gives sympathy pains.

Poor kid.

Oh, sweetie!

Poor baby!

But...

But the tooth fairy is very generous in these situations. Plus, there are now Creamies in the freezer. Sure, they're for her but that won't stop me :)

Now I remember

Now I remember why I didn't go to nursing school...medical school...or dental school. Yikes..I hope it starts looking worse than it feels soon.

OUCH!! And I thought it hurt

OUCH!!

And I thought it hurt when I lost my two front teeth as a kid trying to take apart a stuck construction toy.

Kids are resilient, my brother nearly bit his tongue in half as a kid when he slipped off a chair.

Hope your munchkin heals quick

Oh man!!!

Oh my gosh, the poor baby! Thank goodness they aren't her permenant teeth. Sheesh, it's going to be a while before her permenant ones come in though.
Like everyone else, this reminds me of a story...
My younger brother was playing swords with a wooden spoon. He was jumping from back and forth between the twin beds and decided to stick the spoon handle in his mouth. You can guess what happened... The spoon handle shot to the back of his throat and made a small, dime sized hole. My mother was on the phone when my little bro walked out, carrying the bloody spoon. He was crying, held up the spoon and opened his mouth. She nearly fainted.
Kids are just fearless.
Anyway, I really hope your little one recovers quickly.
