So after all that trouble to have a contest and sort through the entries and counting the votes. The winner is...

Donna

The voting was very close. Within one vote, actually. But we checked for hanging chads, double-checked with the Supreme Court and the results are certified.

If I can let you in on a secret, and I'm pretty sure I can, this is exactly how I hoped this contest would go. As expected, when faced with the reality of changing her alter-ego, she found herself emotionally attached to it. I suspected readers would feel the same.

And hey, at least I don't have to spend the day finding and replacing.

I SO wanted to win..I'm not "allowed to BUY another purse"..yeah I guess I have a purse addiction. Is there a 12 step program for that.. winning one was my option.
But I think you are right..Donna does make it easier doesn't it.

I e-mailed you, Pete. I'm glad Donna decided she liked her name - as I said, I like it too. She seems to fit it because she's so nice.

Now I can buy something from her, too, and not be accused of having any kind of an addiction. :)
