As an adult man who is now wearing braces to correct a similar problem that should've been taken care of by my parents when I was 12 -- I feel it is my duty to beg you to take the child to an orthodontist to deal with that *now*. The long term self-esteem issues, the difficulties (and growing expense) of doing it later in life, etc are all too great. Please.

You probably know all of that and are "on it" -- but if you need an extra cheering/encouragement audience to do it, I'm here for you. :)

I see what you mean. I have seen a number of children have the same issue. Not very many adults though.
