I've received some nice comments and notes from readers over the past few months showing touching concern that all is well with me and my family.

The family is great. Life is great. Things are well.

This blog has served its purpose and the time has come to retire it. I'll keep the site up but will be closing comments and not posting any new content.

Thanks to all of you who supported me through this very important time of my life. I enjoyed every moment of it.
