Whenever it rains, most of the water from the roof makes its way through this drain. It makes an almost unnaturally loud sound and leaks like a Mexican submarine.

It doesn't SOUND like a Mexican sub. It leaks like one.

I'm not even sure what that really means. I'm just guessing that Mexico's sub fleet is, if anything, hand-me-downs from the US Civil War.
